The East End Film Festival’s Day of Refuge

I’ll be hosting a spoken word event as part of the East End Film Festival’s Day of Refuge. It will feature readings of poetry addressing refugee issues, and life stories written by residents of the Calais refugee camp. Guests include: Deanna Rodgers, M. Omer AKA Dream, Tahir Zaman. With photography by camp residents curated by Gideon Mendel and Crispin Hughes.

In partnership with UEL Centre for Narrative Research.
