REMEMBER

Remember that night at the Granville
When you called for the band to play more
And the lights went out in the ballroom
And the world danced its way into war
And you took my hand there at the Granville
And we ran through the banqueting hall
And all of the waiters were waltzing
And the cooks took a last curtain call
And the spars burst out into fountains
And the tunnels escaped to the shore
And the ceiling fell in like confetti
And a bellboy pulled up the door
And the dust settles now at the Granville
And I see you out there on the floor
And our ghosts glide over the ballroom
And you call for the band to play more
