Postcards From Loculi
In September 2014 I sent 34 postcards from the village of Loculi in Sardinia. Each postcard contained a single stanza from a long poem. The poem itself contained 34 stanzas. The whole poem is owned collectively by its 34 recipients. It is spread across four continents, published in fragments in other people’s letterboxes.
Recipients were invited to photograph their postcards and publish them on social media. The photographs here are published in the order I received them. This is the only way the poem is currently available to read as a whole.
One copy of this thirty-four-page loose-leaf poem has been made available for sale as a book. Its publication status is ‘currently unavailable’. It will require an editor to collect and collate all thirty-four postcards from their individual recipients for the book to become ‘active’. All profits from the sale can be collected by the editor. The suggested RRP is £3400.
