Friends,
Many thanks to those of you who have signed up to ‘Knowing I’ll never reach you but being OK with getting close’ – my weekly publication of lyric essays, lectures and digressions at the intersection of fiction and document.
We have now reached issue Nº31. You can read the latest instalment here:
Nº31 What Skinhead Danny taught me about art and poetry
31 is a number of significance.
My poem ‘Body 115’ is composed of 31 cantos, each of 31 lines, in commemoration of the 31 victims of the King’s Cross Fire, the backdrop to the work.
On this year’s anniversary of the tragedy – 18-11-25 – I will be broadcasting a LIVESTREAM PERFORMANCE of the poem from an as yet undisclosed location.
I would very much like you to tune in to see it. Please bookmark the date.
Full details will be released in due course. You can find our holding page HERE
Remember, all is number.
Jan
