a silver pool
the smell of rosemary
a silent sunday

a black avocado
and a lump of coal
set in its putrid flesh

this is what I thought I gave you

a lime green leaf
an amber evening
a mist of wishes

this is what you found

a stained rainbow
an insect necklace
and a slow, lonely bullet
