The setting of poetry by Jan Noble is a new song cycle from Donna Mckevitt, the youngest contemporary composer to have her opus number one, Translucence, released on a major classical label. Her settings of Derek Jarman’s poetry was received with exceptional critical acclaim.

Mckevitt & Noble is a collaboration between composer and poet. The debut album succeeds three ‘draft’ mp3 releases, 3 books and a short film accompanied by a live preview performance at the East End Film Festival. Mckevitt & Noble are currently working on an opera details of which will be announced in 2012.
